Having your samples collected during a building inspection by a trained Impact7G Industrial Hygienist is strongly encouraged because doing so will help:

  • Reduce liability
  • Meet the requirements for bulk sample collections (number of samples, type of samples, etc.) set by state and federal governments.
  • Avoid costly fines
  • Avoid building demolition or remodeling delays.

General Info:

  • The lab report will list the material and the presence or absence of asbestos. If present, the amount of asbestos will be shown as a percentage. If the sample contains greater than one percent asbestos, it is an asbestos containing material or “ACM.”  Lab results are listed by the mineral name. There are six types of asbestos: chrysotile, amosite, crocidolite, actinolite, tremolite, and anthophyllite.
  • The inspection report will identify suspect materials within the building.

Please Note:

  • Payment will be required prior to the release of the lab report.
