William (Bill) Martin has joined Impact7G as a Senior Project Manager in charge of leading environmental planning efforts related to National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance. Bill brings over forty years of experience to the firm with a diverse career in environmental planning and permitting, regulatory compliance, due diligence, preservation and conservation planning, GIS, mitigation planning, and ecological restoration.

“With the passage of the infrastructure and climate bills, it is an exciting time to be a NEPA practitioner, and Impact7G is committed to providing outstanding NEPA services to meet the needs stemming from these two pieces of legislations,” Martin said.

“I have watched Impact7G grow since its inception and have been impressed with its thoughtful growth that now integrates all environmental disciplines into a thoughtful, holistic approach addressing client needs,” Martin noted. “Impact7G has a well-deserved reputation for environmental planning through the National Environmental Policy Act, and I felt that my perspectives and talents would be served well by moving my professional practice to Impact7G.”

Bill is a Certified Environmental Professional, Registered Professional Archaeologist, Certified Environmental Inspector and Report, and a Trained Wetland Delineator. He acquired a bachelor’s degree in environmental anthropology and master’s degrees in anthropology and landscape architecture from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale and Iowa State University, respectively.
