A previously completed Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) on behalf of a local economic developmental corporation identified several recognized environmental conditions (RECs) associated with the subject property. RECs included railroad tracks, an auto repair facility, and an auto manufacturing facility on the subject property; multiple auto repair facilities on adjoining properties, and an adjacent property that historically contained underground storage tanks and coal storage.

Impact7G conducted drilling to investigate for potential soil/groundwater contamination. Impact7G drilled seven borings to help investigate for the presence of potential soil and/or groundwater contamination on the subject property.  Borings were advanced through various subsurface materials.  Soils were collected from multiple depths within each boring. At the conclusion of soil sampling, the borings were converted to temporary monitoring wells. Impact7G assisted with groundwater sampling via a peristaltic pump and disposable polyethylene tubing.
