Everyone benefits from an environment free of exposed lead-based paint (LBP). Our clients that require efficient and timely LBP inspection services include construction contractors, municipalities, developers, and engineering firms. Impact7G works with several municipalities that are responsible for U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funded LBP inspection and remediation programs. Impact7G staff have extensive experience managing and implementing HUD’s requirements under these programs. Additionally, numerous colleges, universities, school districts, and hospitals have benefited from Impact7G’s comprehensive LBP inventories prior to renovation and demolition projects. Impact7G maintains an X-ray Fluorescence (XRF) analyzer to screen painted surfaces for LBP. This tool provides instantaneous results without damaging building materials. A significant percentage of residential and commercial structures standing today are within HUD’s target range of being constructed when lead-based paint was prevalent. This can present health risks for both habitants as well as contractors working with the building components.
