Jade assists in data collection and entry from the field. She facilitates in design and planning for the Watershed group. Currently, Jade is in the process of earning a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of Iowa. She will have completed her master’s degree in May of 2021. During her time at the University of Iowa, her education has been focused on water quality and designing sustainable systems to remediate environmental issues. She passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam and is obtaining Engineer-In-Training status to eventually become a Professional Engineer. In the summers away from school, Jade has had various internships involving work with GIS, inspections in the field, and regulatory compliance research.
Off the clock
Jade is happiest when she is on her bike outdoors where she cruises all around the trails in Eastern Iowa. She enjoys staying active by cycling and running. She also loves to cook and try new foods! Jade hopes one day to travel to Europe to see all the sights and experience the culinary scene.
