Jennifer has 11 years of experience consist of historic preservation, including National Register nominations, Reconnaissance and Intensive Level Architectural/Historic Surveys and Section 106 reviews and mitigation projects, such as Historic Context studies, Iowa Historic Property studies, and public history booklets.

Jennifer is also a consultant with the State Historical Society of Iowa’s Technical Advisory Network (TAN) and has evaluated the National Register eligibility of more than 30 historic buildings and districts, many of which have been listed or in the process of being listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Jennifer also serves as the chair of the Johnson County Historic Preservation Commission. In addition to client-based consultation services, Jennifer’s objective is to foster informed decision making by investigating and documenting project based historic preservation, allowing clients to make sustainable decisions.

Off the clock
Ms. Price enjoys going on long pack walks with her Corgi, his doggie friends, and other dog-mom pals. “I love being outside, laughing at the dogs, and just being with good friends.” Another passion of Jennifer’s is yoga; she’s been practicing for almost 12 years.
