An environmental specialist with experience in watershed management as well as collecting data using GPS equipment and forest measurement tools, Tyler’s attention to detail is a big asset to Impact7G. He conducts the majority of the lead-based paint inspections and is an instructor for the LBP classes. Tyler aso creates drawings in AutoCAD for several projects, including site plan maps, sample location maps, and homogeneous area maps for asbestos inspection.
Off the clock
Tyler’s happiest when he’s just hanging out with his wife and their growing family of two dogs and soon-to-be-born son, Mason. Don’t let that fool you, though—Tyler is not afraid of running into a challenge. He’s a member of the Le Mars Fire Department and dreams of one day visiting Alaska to stay in a hotel made of ice (it’s a thing). He placed 2nd in the Axe Throwing competition as a competitor with the Iowa State University Forestry Club at the 2015 Midwest Regional Forester’s Conclave at Southern Illinois University. He’s trained in Jui Jitsu and Muay Thai and had an amateur MMA record of 2-0 before deciding he “didn’t want to get punched in the face anymore.”
